Veja trainers align with Oliver Spencer’s goals for sustainability with their use of materials consisting entirely of organic cotton, wild rubber from the Amazon, vegetable-tanned leather and recycled plastic bottles. The factory where the trainers are made in South Brazil respects the standards of work established by the International Labour Organisation. Furthermore goods are transported by ship from Brazil to Le Havre in France, where they are then taken to Paris by boat keeping their carbon footprint to a minimum despite the length of journey the have to make.
